GRASA participated in the PANAF summit 2026 which was held in Addis Ababa, Ethiopia.
The summit brought together government leaders, artists, organisations, researchers and practitioners promoting artistic freedom and, representatives of regional and international human rights bodies.
Zambia was well represented through government and key organisations supporting government's ambition to grow the creative sector, promoting artistic rights and, boosting the economy.
GRASA remains a committed player in promoting public participation and defending artistic freedom on the foundations of Economic, Social and Cultural rights.
As we near the general elections in Zambia, we hope to see art being utilised for political messaging and mobilising public participation. We wish to see more art and no violence.
