Michael Olise spoke about his "pitch ritual” pre-game routine: 🤯
🗣️Olise: “People are reading way too much into this grass thing. Honestly, it’s purely practical.
I just need to know exactly what kind of surface I’m dealing with. Is it sticky? Is it slick? How is the ball going to roll? Knowing the friction of the grass helps me set my game plan and pick the right studs for the match.”
“Besides the physical side, it’s just a way to zone in. It gives me a quick second to block out the crowd, quiet my mind, and get completely focused before the whistle blows.”
“Call it a ritual if you want, but to me, it’s just getting ready to go to work."
Is this true?
