The fashion industry is incredibly wasteful and millions of tons of clothing end up in the landfill. When sent to the landfill the synthetic fabrics can take up to 200 years to break down, as they do they produce methane a powerful global warming green house gas which affects the earth’s temperature and climate system?

The trash-to-fashion project seeks to solve this problem by raising awareness about zero waste and ensuring that old clothes and dead stock materials are not trashed but recycled into new clothes,accents and accessories
