This was the call last Tuesday from Dr. Siliya, inviting me to participate and share valuable insights around business on the subject "Developing the Business Mindset" at the Zambia 1,000 Summit organized by Platinum Communications Limited, an initiative and establishment of Dr. Siliya.
Sharing the platform alongside accomplished prominent leaders & personalities of industry in academia, business & entrepreneurship, youth development, the corporate world and media & entertainment, I was privileged to discuss the fundamentals of starting and developing a business but what it also takes to sustain it as a going concern.
Being interviewed by Martine Dennis, an accomplished internationally acclaimed journalist with over 40 years of experience working with the BBC, Sky News, Al Jazeera & Carte Blanche on M-Net and now hosting a thriving Podcast, was such a profound honor.
But what was even more interesting was to share business related ideas that matter, alongside a panel of great minds in the likes of Dr. Sylvia B. Mwansa โFounder of SBM Consulting & SBM Fashion with over 43 years of corporate & business experience, ChetaโAgriculture business leader and host of the largest Women Agriculture Conference in Zambia among many an extensive array of leaders in their specific fields!
Getting to hear from our recent IPO listed company on the Lusaka Stock Exchange Dot Com Zambia Chief Executive Officer, Mawano Kambeu on his story engaged my attention of curiosity.
Kennedy M Chileshe too, spiced up thought-provoking narratives on an interesting debate relating to youth involvement in natinal matters.
Such a great initiative and platform Dr. Siliya bringing together diverse and holistic quality conversations aimed at fine tuning mindsets for growth purposes.
Contributing to important conversations is my heart beat!
