THE MOVEMENT FOR PATRIOTS SUPPORTS AND DEFENDS PRESIDENT BRIAN MUNDUBILE’S CALL TO OTHER OPPOSITION LEADERS TO PATNER WITH TONSE
President Brian Mundubile has shown to the nation that he is able to unite this nation which is heavily divided on political and tribal lines. He has demonstrated his character and commitment as you can see many organizations, political parties and alliances that have joined hands with Tonse Alliance 2026. His call to the other opposition leaders and organizations to unite must not be misinterpreted as being disrespectful or rather for selfish gains. His desire is to see a better and united country. It’s very unfortunate to note that when a genuine call like this is made and other leaders choose to politicize the call. Zambia is at crossroads and if the opposition don’t unite they will be no Zambia to talk about and even their political ambitions will be buried as they will be no conducive environment for the opposition.
As Movement for Patriots we feel that President Brian Mundubile’s call for the opposition to come together has come at the right time and must be supported by every well meaning leader. In times like this when democracy is at stake, leaders must put their egos and personal interests aside for the sake of mother Zambia.
On the other hand, we would like to show our gratitude to WOZA and other opposition parties and organizations for leading the way that it’s possible to work together under the Tonse Alliance. Tonse Alliance is a national platform for national unity as Tonse Alliance president spoke about in his recent speech.
