What an incredible two days of learning, leadership and impact!
It was a true privilege for VantagePoint Risk Consultants Limited to facilitate the Board Induction and Board Committee Training for the HELSB Higher Education Loans and Scholarships Board.
HELSB's mandate is one that inspires us! it exists to help deserving young Zambians access higher education, investing in the country's greatest asset: its people. By supporting students to achieve their academic aspirations, HELSB is helping build Zambia's human capital and shape the nation's future. It was an honour to induct this Board and equip its Members with the governance tools and practical insights needed to lead effectively.
Our multidisciplinary team delivered a truly engaging programme:
✨ Mrs. Kilolo Hazel Mpundu Sichula, our Finance & Investment Consultant, made her facilitation debut after more than 15 years of industry experience and delivered an outstanding session on financial oversight for Board Members.
✨ Mr. Anthony Bwembya, our Corporate Governance Consultant, shared his wealth of experience in corporate governance, fiduciary responsibilities and Board effectiveness.
✨ Mrs. Nyangu Sakala Zulu , our Human Capital Consultant, captivated the Board with a well-structured and practical session on the role of people in organisational success. Her message reinforced that even the strongest governance frameworks can only succeed when institutions intentionally invest in their people.
✨ Mrs. Mulubwa Chola , Founder and Lead Consultant at VantagePoint Risk Consultants Limited, led sessions on Corporate Governance, Risk Management, ESG, Compliance, Board Leadership and Governance Excellence.
One of the things that makes our approach unique is that we don't stop at technical training. We also incorporate practical team-building activities that strengthen emotional intelligence, trust, collaboration and Board cohesion—because effective governance begins with effective relationships.
