After being away for a little while, I’m glad to reconnect with you all and share something close to my heart.

Today, I had the privilege of supporting the 2026 ZAF Expo and Air Force Marathon,an initiative led by the Zambia Air Force that goes beyond celebration. It is about national pride, corporate leadership, and raising funds to support vulnerable communities.

It was an honour to stand alongside the Commander, Lt Gen Oscar Msitu Nyoni, and other corporate leaders on the Copperbelt as we committed to this worthy cause.

True leadership is not only about business success , it is about showing up for the nation and contributing to meaningful impact.

I recently came across a Joke that was making rounds on social media were someone was saying, when I started this business, my plan was simple, to make money, but now it looks like I am running Mad. I know most of us entrepreneurs could relate to that Joke.

And truth be told, entrepreneurship and madness walk hand in hand. The sleepless nights, the risks, the endless thinking, it can drain you if you’re not careful. So, dear entrepreneurs, as you chase your dreams, protect your peace and guard your mental health.

WHAT THEY RARELY TELL US ABOUT ENTREPRENEURSHIP

Entrepreneurship isn’t about fancy offices, big teams, or perfect plans. Most of the time, it’s about rolling up your sleeves, learning as you go, and figuring things out while pretending you know what you’re doing. I’ve had days when everything went wrong, a deal fell through, a supplier delayed, or the numbers just didn’t add up and yet, that’s where the lessons live.

Trust me there is real joy that comes in the small wins, that first client who believes in you, that project you thought was impossible but somehow pulled off, or that moment when someone says, “Wow, you actually did it.” That’s what keeps us going, that’s what makes this journey worth it.

So, to every entrepreneur out there, don’t wait for the perfect moment or the perfect plan. Start. Fall. Learn. Laugh. And keep going. Your future self will thank you.

I recently started doing my morning walks again after being on a break for a few weeks. At first, it felt refreshing, that sense of discipline, that quiet victory of just showing up. But this morning was different.

I woke up and just didn’t feel like myself. My body felt heavy, my mind quiet. A part of me said, “You’ve done well these past few days Asher have take a break today It won’t hurt to skip one day.” And for a moment, I almost gave in.

But then I remembered why I started. I remembered the goals I set, the promise I made to myself to stay consistent not perfect, just consistent. So, I got up, put on my shoes, and stepped outside. The morning air hit my face, the road stretched ahead, and with each step, I started to feel more like me again.

Halfway through my walk, something clicked, this journey felt a lot like entrepreneurship. Some days, you wake up motivated and full of energy, other days, you wake up questioning everything, your pace, your purpose, your plan. But the truth is, the days that count the most are not the easy ones. They’re the ones where you choose to show up even when you don’t feel like it.

Dear Entrepreneur, Get up and show up today, make today count.
