Former Mufulira Wanderers players today rolled back the years with an entertaining match against local players drawn from different teams across Mufulira at Damiano Sports ground
The former stars, including Brian Ambungeni, Nicolas Kamocha, David Chali, Madalitso Mwanza, Fumbani Muwowo, Joseph Chewe, Allan Kamwanga, Taonga Bwembya, Geoffrey Simwinga, Nchimunya Munene, Mubanga Chewe, Felix Bwalya and Innocent Chalwe, reminded fans that class is permanent. The game was filled with clever dribbles, strong tackles and moments of brilliance that brought smiles to everyone watching.
Fumbani Muwowo showed that he still has plenty of pace, leaving opponents chasing shadows down the wing, while Nchimunya Munene was superb at the heart of the defence, reading the game well and making timely tackles throughout the match.
