The Evergrow Group of Companies based in Solwezi today partnered with Solwezi Municipal Council in the ongoing Keep Zambia Clean, Green and Healthy campaign.
The cleanup activities took place in Mush*tala, covering the area between SGC Filling Station and Choppies Superstore where staff and Evergrow took part in litter picking, historical waste removal, desilting drainages and slashing overgrown vegetation.
Leading the Council staff in the cleaning efforts, Director of Public Health Mr. Castro Chisanga expressed satisfaction with the increasing involvement of stakeholders in supporting the campaign within the district.
He emphasized that the success of this program relies on the active collaboration with cooperating partners, civil society organizations, communities, and the general public.
The Local Authority commends Evergrow's contribution and calls on other partners to follow this exemplary gesture in supporting government’s efforts to Keep Zambia Clean, Green and Healthy.
