LIFE DOESN’T HAVE ONE FORMULA
-----------------------------------------------------------------------
If business has worked out for you, that is beautiful. But don’t start discouraging people trying school as if education has no value. And if school is what is working for you, also don’t look down on people trying business as if success only comes through a classroom.

LIFE IS NOT THAT STRAIGHT.
One thing people fail to understand is that different people are fighting different realities. What worked for you may completely fail for another person, and what failed for you may become someone else’s breakthrough. That is why forcing your experience on everyone is dangerous.

Some people will build through education. Others through business. Others through both slowly with time. There is no single route that guarantees success for everyone.

The mistake many make is thinking life is just A or B, black or white. Meanwhile, reality is far more complicated than that. Everyone is carrying a different story, different pressure, different opportunity, and different timing.

ONE THING THAT REMAINS TRUE HOWEVER IS THIS.
Whether it is school or business, both have pressure. Both can humble you. Both can delay you. And both can change your life completely if handled properly.

At the end of the day, consistency still matters. Discipline still matters. Hard work still matters.

Because success may delay, but when a person keeps pushing relentlessly with direction and patience, eventually something responds.

STOP RUNNING A BUSINESS THAT DOES NOT EXIST ON PAPER 🚨
-----------------------------------------------------------------------
LET'S TALK ABOUT IT AND I WILL BE HONEST WITH YOU.

Most people are not running businesses. They are just busy. Money is coming in, yes, but there is no structure, no control, no direction. Today it works, tomorrow it shakes.

THAT IS NOT A BUSINESS. THAT IS SURVIVAL.

A real business is one that is recognized, organized, and taken seriously. It can stand on its own, grow, and open doors. And that only starts when you decide to move from informal to formal.

You don’t need to know everything at once. But you need to understand that there is a right way to set up and run a business if you want real results.

• There is a process to make your business legal
• There is a way to structure your operations properly
• There is a system to control your money
• There are requirements you must meet as you grow

Most people ignore these things. That is why their businesses remain small, unstable, and stressful.

NOW HERE IS WHERE MANY GET IT WRONG.

They think once they register, everything is done. No. Registration is just the beginning. The real work is in how you manage and control what you have started.

• If you don’t understand your money, your business will confuse you
• If you mix personal and business funds, you will never see growth clearly
• If you don’t follow proper steps, problems will catch up with you

This is why some businesses make money but never move forward.
Because there is no structure behind the effort.

If you are serious about your business, take that step. Stop guessing. Stop operating in a way that limits you.
Build something that can grow, attract opportunities, and last.

If you need proper guidance on how to formalise and structure your business the right way, reach out.

LATEST DEVELOPMENTS IN THE BANKING SECTOR
-----------------------------------------------------------------------
There are latest developments in the banking sector and let me break this down in a simple way, because this changes everything for money lenders in Zambia.

The game has shifted.

The old system where people were operating freely under the is now gone. Completely repealed. That means the “old way” of running a lending business is no longer recognized.

Now, if you are in the lending space, you are no longer just a “money lender”. You are now part of the formal financial system, and the is fully in charge.

This is where people need to pay attention.

Under the new system, you are now classified as a financial service provider, most likely falling under a financial business licence. In simple terms, if you give loans and you are not taking deposits, this is your category.

That alone changes how you must operate.

• You must be licensed properly
• You must meet capital requirements
• You must have proper structure and governance
• You must report your activities

This is no longer a casual business.

The law has now become strict.

• No licence, no business
• Heavy penalties for illegal operation
• Serious consequences for non compliance

And it does not end there.

The way you deal with customers is now controlled.

• You must clearly show interest and charges
• No hidden fees
• No unfair treatment
• No harsh or abusive debt collection

Even how you price your loans can now be influenced, because interest rates can be regulated.

On top of that, you must now follow serious financial rules.

• Know your customer
• Keep proper records
• Report suspicious transactions
• Maintain clean documentation

This is where many small informal lenders will struggle.

Because the truth is simple.

The business has moved from informal survival to formal structure.

• If you are not organized, you will be pushed out
• If you are structured, you will grow stronger
• If you comply, you gain legitimacy
• If you ignore, you risk losing everything

This law is not just a change.

It is a reset of the entire lending industry in Zambia.

So the question now is not whether you are in the business.

The question is, are you ready to operate at this new level?

IF YOU DON’T SEPARATE BUSINESS MONEY FROM PERSONAL MONEY, YOU DON’T HAVE A BUSINESS.
-----------------------------------------------------------------------
Many people say they are doing business, but in reality, they are just mixing money. Today the business makes money, tomorrow it is used for personal needs, and in the end, nothing grows.

This is one of the biggest reasons small businesses fail.

1. You can’t track performance
If business money and personal money are mixed, you will never know if you are making profit or loss. You will just be operating blindly.

2. You kill your own capital
Every time the business makes money, you reduce it for personal use. Instead of growing, the business keeps going back to zero.

3. You make wrong decisions
Without clear records, you start guessing. You increase prices wrongly, you restock badly, and you lose direction.

4. You delay growth
A business grows when money is reinvested. If everything is consumed, nothing expands.

So keep it simple, but serious.

• Open a separate space for business money
• Pay yourself like an employee, not randomly
• Track every inflow and outflow
• Respect the business as its own entity

At the end of the day, money respects structure.

If you treat your business money casually, it will never grow seriously.

IF YOU WANT TO UNDERSTAND WHY LIFE FEELS SLOW, START HERE.
-----------------------------------------------------------------------
Hope and determination sound powerful, but in real life, they don’t look attractive. They look like delay, confusion, and pressure. You are trying, you are pushing, but results are not coming the way you expected.

That is where most people lose direction.

1. Delay is not denial
Many people think when things are slow, it means it is not working. That is wrong. Delay is part of the process. It is where you are forced to think better, adjust, and grow. If you quit here, you miss everything.

2. Pressure will confuse your path
You start comparing yourself to others. You see people moving, making money, progressing. Suddenly you feel behind. So you rush decisions, you change direction, and you lose focus.

3. Lack of clarity is the real problem
Most people don’t fail because they are lazy. They fail because they are not clear. Everything is in the head, not written, not structured. So when things get hard, they don’t even know what they are fighting for.

4. The solution is simple but serious
You don’t need motivation. You need direction.

• Write your vision clearly
• Know exactly what you are building
• Remove noise and outside pressure
• Stay consistent even when results are slow

At the end of the day, success is not about speed.

It is about direction, discipline, and the decision to keep going when nothing looks like it is working.

BEFORE YOU START OR INVEST IN ANY BUSINESS THIS YEAR, ASK YOURSELF THESE SIX (6) QUESTIONS

Many people don’t lose money because the business is bad. They lose money because they entered the business blindly. If you’re about to put your hard-earned money into any business in 2026, then ask yourself the following questions.

1. Can I clearly explain how it makes money? If the profit model is confusing, then pause and rethink.

2. What real problem does it solve? Problem-solving businesses survive. Trending businesses fade.

3. Who are the people in the business? This will help you study their work.

4. What are the risks involved? If they only tell you the good part, be careful.

5. Is the success of the business based on skill or just luck? Because skill grows. Luck disappears. Skill and hard work will guarantee your future.

6. Then ask yourself: Are you investing or gambling? If it sounds too easy, too fast, too guaranteed, that’s your warning sign.

Think before you start. You can probably consult experts such as Entrepreneur, Accountant, Economist or a Lawyer with vast experience in business before going ahead so as to safely guide your capital. Business isn't just about emotion; it's also strategy.

I hope someone has learned something?
