The next body type we are looking at is the inverted triangle/ strawberry. Your shoulders are the biggest part of your body, therefore you should avoid wearing anything that overemphasize them. Instead focus on balancing the bottom to the top. The secret with dressing the other body types is to make the look balanced. The fact that it is your size doesn't mean you have to wear it.
This body type is one of the easiest to dress but can be very easy to make mistakes as well. Even if skinny jeans and puffy tops are in fashion, it is important to understand that this combination throws your look out of balance. You do not want to end up looking like you are ready to play American football. Avoid anything that adds more weight to your shoulders like padded tops, frilled tops, big collar tops etc. Keep your upper body simple and add patterns, frills, side pockets, bright colours to your lower body to shift attention from your upper to your lower. Flared and A-line skirts, bootlegs good option. If you like skinny jeans, pair them with flared tops, boots (especially the ones with a fur) or alternatively pick the skinny jeans with a turn up.
One of the celebrities I know with this body type is Naomi Campbell. Next time you see some of her photos, look at how she balances her body type by what she wears. You do not have to be her size (she is a model) but you will have an idea. Above all it is about being confident. They always say look good feel good. For me the opposite is true. For me the opposite is true. It starts with me knowing who I am, accepting me, appreciating how God has made me and making peace with me. This also helps me accept other people as they are.
