She is also an Advanced Aesthetic Practitioner, a Philanthropist and Businesswoman. and Certified Aesthetic Trainer. Empowered Women Rising Trust Association was founded in Dubai, UAE, to create a platform where women in business could connect, network, support one another, and grow through meaningful relationships and events.

The organization is now registered in Zimbabwe as a non-profit. It supports vulnerable communities through charitable initiatives, including assisting orphanages and young, pregnant, and vulnerable women. From selling vegetables as a young girl to help sustain her family, and later starting small businesses with very limited capital, she transformed the survival instincts forged through poverty into a lifelong capacity to identify opportunities, create value and build. Her journey through interrupted education, financial hardship, personal loss and extraordinary adversity has made her a compelling voice on entrepreneurship, perseverance and the power of refusing to be defined by one's circumstances.

She is the Founder of Ora Exclusive a vibrant Bulawayo retail brand launched in 2023 that offers high-quality women’s clothing and wigs. More than just fashion, Ora Exclusive was built to help women express themselves with confidence to walk into any room feeling beautiful, capable, and seen. Through carefully curated pieces and personalized service, Nomsa has created a brand that celebrates the modern Zimbabwean woman.

A graduate of the National University of Science and Technology (NUST) with a degree in Marketing, Nomsa brings both strategy and heart to everything she does. Her academic background, combined with hands-on business experience, allows her to build brands that are not only beautiful but also intentional. But her commitment to women goes beyond retail. Nomsa is also a published author deeply passionate about self-awareness and relationships. Her two latest books, (Dealing with Me for Me)and *
(Before I Do)are guides to self-discovery. The first encourages women to do the inner work of healing and growth for themselves, while the second prepares them for healthy, intentional relationships and marriage.

Beyond her own brand, Dorothy serves as a Distributor of Mambokadzi Products in Bulawayo. In this role she has become a pillar in a movement that celebrates Zimbabwean women and their potential. Dorothy doesn’t just distribute products; she uses every interaction as an opportunity to teach, encourage, and connect. She regularly hosts business talks, pop-ups, and small mentorship circles where women learn practical skills in sales, branding, and financial management.
