Africa's agribusiness sector does not grow on its own. It grows because of the people who lead it, the entrepreneurs who built something from nothing, the educators who trained the next generation, the women who pushed through every barrier, and the leaders whose vision changed the game.

The Africa Agribusiness Excellence Awards 2026 recognises all of them.

The Africa Agribusiness Excellence Awards 2026 opens its first spotlight with the people at the heart of it all, the farmers and producers feeding, sustaining, and building Africa's agricultural future.

Section A recognises outstanding individuals across 12 production categories, from commercial farming to smallholder operations, livestock, poultry, dairy, horticulture, aquaculture, organic agriculture, integrated farming, and small stock production.

These are entrepreneurs, innovators, and custodians of Africa's most critical sector.
