FC Platinum Show Positive Vibes Under Thabo Senong
ZVISHAVANE — FC Platinum are showing encouraging signs under new head coach Thabo Senong, with the Zvishavane giants holding Scottland FC to a 0-0 draw today.
Senong’s start at the club has been promising. He began his tenure with a 1-0 league victory over Agama FC at Mandava Stadium, before guiding the team to a 2-0 win over Blackrock FC in the Munhumutapa Challenge Cup.
His first three official matches now read:
🟢 FC Platinum 1-0 Agama FC
🟢 FC Platinum 2-0 Blackrock FC
🟢 Scottland FC 0-0 FC Platinum
That means two wins and one draw, with three goals scored and none conceded since Senong took charge — an impressive defensive start.
Interestingly, Scottland had previously beaten FC Platinum 3-1 in the Chibuku Super Cup on August 14, making today's clean-sheet draw an even more encouraging response.
The Senong era is beginning to look promising.
