HIRING | Manager – Database Administration

We are looking for an experienced Manager – Database Administration to join a leading banking environment and manage critical database infrastructure, application support, performance, security, availability and disaster recovery.

🔷 Mandatory Requirements:
· 8+ years of overall IT experience
· 5+ years of experience in a similar Database Administration role within a Bank
· 3+ years of hands-on experience with RDBMS, Data Warehouse systems and Operating Systems
· Strong experience in Oracle / MS SQL Server / DB2
· Hands-on experience with T24 Core Banking
· Experience supporting 24/7 operations
· Experience managing databases of300GB+ with 100+ concurrent users across different geographical locations
· Experience handling multiple database technologies
· Strong knowledge of SQL DBA, Oracle, Windows OS, IIS Application Servers and Storage (SAN/NAS)
· Strong exposure to Database Administration, Application Administration, High Availability, Capacity Planning and Performance Management
· Hands-on experience with Disaster Recovery (DR), backup & recovery and database upgrades
· Strong understanding of database security, patching and user security
· Familiarity with ITIL / CMMI / ISO standards

Education:
Bachelor's degree in Engineering or Master's in Computer Applications.
⭐ Preferred Certifications:
MS SQL / Oracle / DB2, ITIL V4, CISSP, CEH, CompTIA Security+, Core Banking / Banking Channels / Payment Systems and Middleware certifications.
