The percentage of women in senior management roles within mid-market companies has increased to 32% since 2021. It should be noted that the figures have stayed above the 30% tipping point for two years in a row, indicating significant progress toward gender parity.
In addition, women leadership statistics indicate that 90% of mid-market organizations have at least one woman in a senior management position.

As part of AFAQ's commitment to employee development, two members of our team are attending Design Thinking Conference in Amsterdam.
The Conference is a yearly gathering where different worldviews are explored. Participants are prompted to consider the value of empathy and recognize the variations in our perceptions of reality.
Inspired by theater and human interaction, the conference involves all of its participants in group activities, where they get to experience, feel and learn from each other.

We are very pleased to announce the start of our new Women in Leadership Programme ‘Leading with Impact’. This programme focuses on what makes a highly effective an impactful leader and takes each participant through a journey of personal and professional reflection on their own leadership philosophy and practice.

As part of this dynamic programme, guest speakers have been invited to provide their leadership insights. During the first module we welcomed Jouhayna Al Mheiri. She is the second Emirati woman and the youngest woman to successfully complete the air traffic control training in Abu Dhabi. Her talk was bold, insightful and very impressive!

We now look forward to the next module which will focus on ‘Directing the Future’.


يسرنا أن نعلن عن انطلاق برنامج القيادات النسائية "القيادة المؤثرة" في نسخته الأحدث. الهدف الأساسي من المسار هو دراسة سمات القادة الفاعلين أصحاب التأثير القوي من خلال اصطحاب المشاركات في رحلة تعلُّم من التفكير المتعمق في فلسفتهن الشخصية عن القيادة والأنماط المختلفة لممارسات القيادة.
يستضيف البرنامج التفاعلي والعملي عددًا من المتحدثين المتميزين لتسليط الضوء على رحلتهم في القيادة.
وكانت جهينة المهيري ضيفتنا الأولى ضمن فاعليات الأسبوع الأول. جهينة هي أصغر امرأة إماراتية وثاني النساء الإماراتيات اللواتي تمكّن من إكمال التدريب في مركز الملاحة الجوية في أبو ظبي لتصبح واحدة من ضابطات مراقبة الحركة الجوية الإماراتية.
واستمتعنا معها بكلمتها المُلهمة والشجاعة والمُؤثرة!
وإننا نتطلع إلى الانتقال إلى المحطة التالية في هذا البرنامج وهي القيادة الملهمة واستشراف المستقبل.
