So what is well-being?
In simple words, it is the state of being WELL physically, emotionally and mentally! Such a powerful yet challenging triad for us to balance out and focus on!! We’re talking here about mental toughness, emotional resilience and physical fitness!
Well-being has been defined as the combination of feeling good and functioning well; the experience of positive emotions such as happiness and contentment as well as the development of one's potential, having some control over one's life, having a sense of purpose, and experiencing positive relationships.
That said, I’m grateful to be part of a very unique and customized corporate project that looks into assessing all these various dimensions through multiple tools to set up a holistic wellbeing development action plan on the short and long term to reach peak performance through various interventions.
What an exhilarating experience!
That said, I’d like to invite you to reflect on your own wellbeing, so on the floor scale you see in my photos and with the above understanding in the hindsight where would you stand on 100 point well being scale? where do you see your current well-being level? What does that mean exactly in practical terms?
Where do you aim to be? How does that look, feel, sound like on the personal and professional level?
How do you get there? What is the first step? What is important? What makes your heart sing?
