A First Step Towards Everyday Sustainability!
What happens when sustainability education meets gamification, student action, and Ramadan reflections?
This season, we had the chance to launch the pilot edition of the DoGood Ne’ma Challenge with students from Dar Al Marefa School, AlRayyana Charter School, and Al Ain British Academy — and what a meaningful journey it turned out to be.
Through the challenge, students explored sustainability in a way that felt practical, interactive, and connected to their everyday lives. The app encouraged them to reflect on their habits, take small actions, and better understand how individual choices can create collective impact.
What makes us especially proud is that the challenge continued even as students shifted into remote learning and school routines changed unexpectedly. Despite everything, students kept engaging, completing tasks, reflecting, and showing genuine enthusiasm throughout the experience.
For a first pilot, the response has been incredibly encouraging.
A huge thank you to DoGood for developing such an engaging platform and for all the flexibility and support throughout the challenge. And thank you to the schools, educators, coordinators, and students who embraced this experience with such positivity and openness.
This is only the beginning ✨
Stay tuned as we share the stories, reflections, and impact created within each participating school over the coming days.
