This year's World Polar Bear Day is focused on mums and their cubs. This year, the non-profit organization Polar Bear International (PBI) launched a campaign to gather fund for developing tools and locate dens so that mothers and cubs are not disturbed.

As of now, polar bears are classified as 'vulnerable species'. This category of IUCN is used for species that are going to endangered soon unless an intervention is made to the situation threatening their existence.

Even though they live mostly on snow-covered land, they are classified as marine animals. Their adaptions like thick fur, fat layers, and water-resistant coat help them survive in both the freezing water and icy air of the north pole.

Unlike species like white rhino and many others who we cannot save, we still have a chance to protect this magnificent polar creature.

It's our time to stand as a collective to make change happen wherever we are. Let's do our best and raise awareness about the good news for the polar creatures instead of the bad.

I’m not the brightest guy on the planet, but I am very animated. Some people say I trip out, others say I’m shy. I keep curiosity very close to my heart.

The vision I have for Anima isn’t your average “to be number 1 in our space”. (here comes the cheesy line) it’s a culture, no matter how you look at it sustainability is and will always be a culture.

We are deep in that culture.

We look forward expressing what “deep” looks like on 🤙

“2017 was the year I was first introduced to the concept of creating content and filmmaking. I started off as an aspiring pilot, ended up studying commerce in high school but it was my university life that made all the difference. My exposure to the world of camera and video editing started off as university assignments but with time, it ignited a spark and a feeling I couldn’t explain. I felt the happiest being around camera and on the editing table and that’s when I knew this was something I wanted to pursue and the rest is history! :)

So here I am!
HIII! I’m Samreen and I create content for a living. I work with brands and individuals, helping them discover their content potential by formulating ideas and bringing them to life. I am a GEN-Z product and I live my life on social media which is what makes this beginning a super exciting one.

They say that sometimes you’re at the right place and the right time and my journey with Anima was nothing less than that! It came with a new beginning to a career path I look forward to work towards, every single day! Imagine being able to be a part of a movement we’re all gaining awareness about and being able to use the power of content to educate and create a culture that cultivates a better future and a more informed space.
You know, THIS is the beauty of being able to produce content and I’m lucky to be able to find myself in this zone.

Other than that, I’m a self-proclaimed Chai ambassador and a complete chatterbox. If I’m not working, you’ll either find me chatting happily over anything and everything non stop OR fan-girling over tea! Well I think tea is the best thing to have happened to this planet :)

“Hi everyone, I'm Rohit. Over the years, I've been blessed and grateful to have the network of connections that I do. In fact, it is what has led me to do what I'm doing today. Interestingly enough, I notice that all industries are making the transition to sustainability.
I keep wondering if people are actually interested in "saving the planet". What is it that drives people to persevere to ensure their daily decisions do not affect our planet? SO MUCH, I'm just glad it's on the trend - and it's picking up pace.
Whoa... felt like I was going to slip into writing a blog again :)
Being in Finland has allowed me to understand different perspectives from a region where sustainability is already deeply engraved in society - making it the optimal place to get into the right mindset. Research, energy (esp the wind woosh energy), air pollution legislations and 3D printing is what interests me the most in my industry, but that doesn't stop me from picking up my violin and *fi*****ng* the hell out of it. I also love visual art, death metal and dancing - it's a weird package, I know. That kind of makes it easier to understand how well I fit into the world of sustainability.

We're going to be coming up with content for you guys, and we're hoping that you get in on the action with us, now or later - it's your call. I personally hope you make the dive sooner rather than later.”
