Emirates Diabetes & Endocrine Congress - EDEC EDEC serves as the platform to update delegates on the latest advances in the field of endocrinology.

EDEC is organized by Emirates Diabetes Society (EDS) which aims to educate the healthcare community and enable professionals in providing patient care, counselling and guidance about diabetes and also develops local guidelines for the management with a multidisciplinary approach. EDEC is the region's premier platform to update our participants on the recent advances in the ever-changing field of diabetes and endocrine diseases.

Dr. Fatheya Al Awadi Honoured at the 73rd Session of the World Health Organization (Eastern Mediterranean Regional Office)

Dr. Fatheya Al Awadi, President of Emirates Diabetes & Endocrine Society (EDES), received the State of Kuwait Prize for the Control of Cancer, Cardiovascular Diseases and Diabetes, Presented by Dr. Tedros Adhanom Ghebreyesus, WHO Director-General. The award recognizes her contributions to advancing the prevention and management of diabetes and other major health conditions.
