Amazon recently made a major update to Subscribe and Save, now allowing Fulfillment by Merchant (FBM) products. Before, only products fulfilled by Amazon's FBA service could participate.
1. **Improved Stock Management**
- Brands can now use FBM if their FBA inventory is depleted, ensuring Subscribe and Save customers still receive their orders without interruption.
2. **Year-Round Availability**
- Products that can't be stored in Amazon warehouses during certain times, like chocolate from May to October, can now be shipped directly by brands via FBM, maintaining Subscribe and Save availability all year.
3. **Special Storage Conditions**
- Items requiring specific storage conditions, such as refrigeration, can now be handled by brands in their own facilities and still qualify for Subscribe and Save.
