URGENTLY REQUIRED-ENVIRONMENT HEALTH & SAFETY (EHS) MANAGER – PHARMA (KARACHI)
A well reputed Multinational Pharmaceutical Company based at Karachi, requires EHS MANAGER; Incumbent must be responsible for:
Responsibilities:
– Develop the EHS plan, review & revise as required.
– Carry out safety audits and inspections
– Ensure the implementation of approved safety plan at site.
– Develop and conduct safety trainings.
– Develop safe working practices & procedures.
– Advise on potential improvements for the safety standard.
– Prepare SOPs and Policies of EHS.
– Implementation of EHS Policies.
– Advise site management in all aspects and accomplish all tasks according to legal
– Responsible for giving instructions to safety officers.
– Preparation for the monthly safety committee meeting with all the subcontractors.
– Provide trainings (accident investigation, fire fighting, work at height, scaffolding, confined space, heavy lifting and first aids) to safety staff and construction supervisors/Engineers occasionally.
– Initiate necessary actions in order to correct hazardous conditions
– Investigation of all accidents, incidents and near misses.
– Ensure that HSE procedures, safety stickers, warning signs etc are posted and all personnel are aware of these procedures.
– Organize and conduct testing of the contingency plans, exercises and Projects EHS.
– Periodic Checking of all Mechanical, Civil, Electrical and Instrumentation Tools and equipments,
Qualification & Experiences:
M.Sc-(Environmental Sciences)/BE or its equivalent and 6-8 yrs hands experience,
NEBOSH/IOSH/OHSAS Certifications will be considered as added qualifications.

A Well reputed national pharmaceutical company based at Karachi is looking for a Head of Quality Assurance.
Incumbent should be responsible for planning and implementing the activities of Quality Assurance to ensure the achievement of projects and goals. Monitors and evaluates completion of tasks and projects. May develop budgets for capital expenditures and labor. Typically participates with other managers to establish company policies. Served as a project champion in areas of expertise. Position requires minimal guidance and direction.

• Assure that all areas of Plant facility comply with current Good Manufacturing
• Practices and that any deviations observed are documented and corrected.
• Define and implement Assurance objectives and strategies.
• Provide supervision and training to all Quality Assurance department personnel.
• Assure that all vendors used by the company have been appropriately audited and/or approved by Quality Assurance.
• Propose the need of new equipments & instruments required in the laboratory.
• To assist Quality Operations head in complying with Corporate and Regulatory requirements.
• Review batch records to ensure correctness, completeness, and cGMP compliance.
Skill:
• Team Player and have the ability to work with the cross functional teams.
• Can work and ability to manage and lead the teams.
• Proactive approach in problem solving and devise creative solutions.
Education: M.Sc (Chemistry)/M Pharm/B Pharm from well reputed University.
