Meet the Team: Raghdan Hassan ( )
Raghdan is joining us as Community Experience Associate, and will play an important role at the intersection of communications, events & programming, and member experience. He is part architect, part community leader, part healer and a true "hypeman", and we are so excited to have him as part of the Global Community Team.
Born in Syria and raised in Dubai, Raghdan always dreamed of becoming an actor, performance artist and/or filmmaker. Fascinated by the idea of stepping out of one reality, to live within the possibility of another. Instead, he chose the next best thing to art, design! He studied architecture & design at AUD and fell in love with design’s eclectic nature. The field of design guided him to explore different perspectives and expand on his natural curiosity. All this newness led him on a path of creative living, living with curiosity as his guiding compass. A few years into design school, his senior thesis won a few design awards, including the AIA Middle East design award, and eventually landed him a job at Gensler, working with them in Dubai, Abu Dhabi, Los Angeles and San Francisco. In his 5 years there, he consulted on projects such as Netflix Kids HQ and Apple Hub in California amongst many others, as well as leading Community Impact for his design studio.
During his time in the corporate world, he noticed his curiosity for design fading, and this intrigue around healing and spirituality forming. He decided he should ditch the corporate world and pursue his certifications in energy healing and teaching meditation instead, and all of a sudden that became his latest obsession! He joined a wellness co-living community on Venice Beach in California, became their community manager, and started guiding meditations and healing circles around LA.
Now he’s back in Dubai, guiding meditations across the city and is excited to bring it all together here at our growing community within ATÖLYE.
