Is there anything more beautiful than this incredibly 𝐟𝐫𝐞𝐬𝐡 𝐛𝐚𝐭𝐡𝐫𝐨𝐨𝐦 owned by an Australian Gold Coast couple with the most magnificent taste. ⁣

lt has a Palm Springs vibe and is drenched in 𝐧𝐚𝐭𝐮𝐫𝐚𝐥 𝐥𝐢𝐠𝐡𝐭 from an entire glass window looking out to a stunning little cacti garden. ⁣

I love the 𝐬𝐞𝐚𝐟𝐨𝐚𝐦 𝐛𝐥𝐮𝐞 𝐭𝐢𝐥𝐞 that extends to the floor, the mix of brushed metal taps, concrete sink, and that gorgeous timber framed rattan cabinet and soft textured stone top!⁣

I’ve not been able to move past my obsession with earth tones and natural elements since coming back to Dubai from Australia.

While these saturated hues are a big colour trend for 2020 (or what’s left of the year- cant believe how fast the times flown by under the circumstances) being back in Dubai has only reinforced how much I love these sandy hues and terracotta, earthenware base tones.

These powerful pigments invigorate and sooth me all at the same time and are such great tones to build and layer onto when I’m considering a new design for my clients. The earth hues form the base line of this years ‘new neutrals’ (something like our ‘new normal’) every key Interior trend year on year.

I remember setting trends for a large retail firm 15 years ago and this palette captivated me. I struggled to pin point which Pantone I wanted to highlight in my seasonal colour palette because they were all so rich and alluring- I saw it surface at the height of summer and during the winter months, they are soothing and cool, comforting and cosy.

Yes!!!! Hi! It’s me- I’m still here squirrelling away behind the squares doing what I love best! It’s been a long time I know. How are you all holding out with the current circumstances? I’ve just about got my head around the reality of what we’re all calling the ‘new normal’. If ever there was a time to take sanctuary in our homes and find comfort in each living space, it’s now- and what better time to collectively ogle over my favourite inspirational interior finds, design, organisation and styling tips than now!

After taking some time out to recharge and reflect on what’s really important I’ve also been working my exciting new website and a few new projects I cant wait to share with you to help you
