د. عبد الوهاب زايد: دراسة جدوى استراتيجية وطنية لتطوير زراعة النخيل وانتاج التمور بالمملكة الأردنية الهاشمية

وقعت الأمانة العامة لجائزة خليفة الدولية لنخيل التمر والابتكار الزراعي مذكرة تفاهم مع شركة هيل الزراعية في الإمارات، لتنفيذ أول دراسة من نوعها حول وضع الاستراتيجية الوطنية لتطوير زراعة النخيل وإنتاج التمور في المملكة الأردنية الهاشمية، جاء ذلك في اليوم الثاني من معرض ابوظبي الدولي للتمور 2019، حيث جرت مراسم التوقيع ضمن جناح الجائزة في المعرض بحضور سعادة الدكتور عبد الوهاب زايد أمين عام لجائزة خليفة الدولية لنخيل التمر والابتكار الزراعي، وسعادة الدكتور عبد الكريم محمد العامري الرئيس التنفيذي لشركة هيل الزراعية بالإمارات. جاء توقيع المذكرة على هامش مشاركة الجائزة بمعرض ابوظبي الدولي للتمور الذي افتتحه سمو الشيخ منصور بن زايد آل نهيان نائب رئيس مجلس الوزراء، وزير شؤون الرئاسة يوم الاثنين 09 ديسمبر 2019 بالتزامن مع افتتاحه لمعرض سيال الشرق الأوسط.
وأكد سعادة أمين عام الجائزة بأن هذه الدراسة الاستراتيجية هي الأولى من نوعها على مستوى المملكة الأردنية الهاشمية، وتعتبر بمثابة خارطة طريق لتطوير قطاع زراعة النخيل وإنتاج التمور، تهدف إلى تعزيز مكانة التمور الأردنية خصوصاً تمر المجهول على المستوى الدولي.
وأضاف بأن وضع استراتيجية وطنية لتطوير قطاع زراعة النخيل وإنتاج التمور في المملكة الأردنية الهاشمية يأتي بتوجيهات ودعم سمو الشيخ منصور بن ز ايد آل نهيان نائب رئيس مجلس الوزراء، وزير شؤون الرئاسة، بناء على توصية رفعتها اللجنة العلمية في ختام أعمال المهرجان الدولي الأول للتمور الأردنية إلى الأمانة العامة لجائزة خليفة الدولية لنخيل التمر والابتكار الزراعي.
