সংযুক্ত আরব আমিরাতে বাংলাদেশি প্রবাসীদের সামনে এখন চারটি বড় সংকট দাঁড়িয়ে আছে—
🚨 ১. ভিসা স্বয়ংক্রিয়ভাবে (Auto Cancel) বাতিল হয়ে যাচ্ছে, যার ফলে অনেক প্রবাসী চাকরি, বৈধ অবস্থান ও ভবিষ্যৎ নিয়ে চরম অনিশ্চয়তার মুখে পড়েছেন।
🚨 ২. ভিসা ট্রান্সফার সম্পূর্ণ বন্ধ, তাই নতুন চাকরির সুযোগ পেলেও অন্য কোম্পানিতে যোগ দেওয়ার কোনো উপায় নেই। এতে হাজারো প্রবাসীর কর্মসংস্থান হুমকির মুখে।
🚨 ৩. যাদের ভিসা এখনো বাতিল হয়নি, তারাও সময়মতো আমিরাতে ফিরতে পারছেন না। একদিকে ভিসা বাতিলের আশঙ্কা, অন্যদিকে বিমান ভাড়া প্রায় তিন গুণ বেড়ে অনেক ক্ষেত্রে ১ লাখ টাকা পর্যন্ত পৌঁছে গেছে।
🚨 ৪. নতুন করে প্রায় সব ধরনের ভিসা কার্যক্রম বন্ধ বা স্থগিত, ফলে নতুন কর্মী, ব্যবসায়ী, পরিবার ও পর্যটক—সবাই চরম ভোগান্তির শিকার হচ্ছেন।
এই চারটি সংকট শুধু কয়েকজনের নয়, বরং লাখো বাংলাদেশি প্রবাসী ও তাদের পরিবারের জীবিকা ও ভবিষ্যতের সঙ্গে জড়িত। তাই বিষয়গুলো দ্রুত কূটনৈতিক উদ্যোগের মাধ্যমে সমাধান করা এখন সময়ের দাবি।

Authorities in the UAE have issued a strong warning to pedestrians about jaywalking, as strict traffic laws continue to be enforced across the country. While basic violations still carry standard penalties, serious cases can lead to much heavier fines and even legal consequences.

Under current UAE traffic regulations, crossing roads from non-designated areas is illegal and can result in fines of around Dh400 for standard offences. However, penalties increase significantly if the violation is dangerous or leads to an accident.

In more serious situations—such as jaywalking on high-speed roads or causing a traffic accident—fines can rise to Dh5,000 to Dh10,000, along with possible imprisonment depending on the severity of the incident. Authorities say these tougher penalties are aimed at reducing pedestrian fatalities and improving road safety.

Officials also stress that pedestrians should always use zebra crossings, footbridges, and designated walkways to avoid risk and penalties.
