Margazhi Mozhi Finale - Welcoming Pongal

Margazhi Mozhi 2025

Margazhi is a sacred month steeped in music, devotion, and collective cultural expression. Rooted deeply in tradition, it becomes a time when voices rise in prayer, stories are shared across generations, and art transcends boundaries of place and language. As Margazhi draws to a close, it gently ushers in the festive warmth of Pongal—a celebration of gratitude, abundance, and renewal.

This finale brings together reflection and celebration, marking the culmination of a month-long journey of music, belief, and shared experiences.

Lalitha R is a celebrated performer and cultural ambassador, widely recognised for her contributions to classical Indian music and dance. As the Founder and Director of the 18-year-old non-profit School of World Music & Dance, she has trained over 300 students and curated acclaimed productions across India and internationally. Her dedication to preserving and promoting the performing arts has established her as a respected mentor, teacher, and voice within the global arts community.

Beyond the arts, Lalitha also leads innovation as the CEO and Founder of Hikigai Inc., an AI-driven healthcare startup working at the intersection of health, technology, and human potential. A strong advocate for gender equality and women’s empowerment, she continues to inspire as an artist, leader, and entrepreneur.
