Today we hosted a Blood Donation Campaign at deVere Acuma.
The initiative was organised by Jordan Walker, who gives blood every quarter.
She took that personal commitment and turned it into something the whole company could be part of, opening it up to both employees and clients.
Over 40 of our staff and clients donated a pint of blood each today. That is potentially over 120 lives that could be saved from a single afternoon.
With demand for blood supplies rising across the UAE, we wanted to do something practical and direct.
This felt like the right way to contribute to a country that has given so many of us a great deal.
Thank you to everyone who came down and took part. And a special thank you to Jordan for making it happen.
Sometimes the most meaningful thing you can do takes less than an hour.
