IFRS 18 is set to change how financial performance is presented, bringing greater structure and comparability to the income statement.

With mandatory operating, investing and financing categories, new subtotals, and greater scrutiny of management-defined performance measures, companies will have less room to rely on presentation choices that were once left to management judgement.

Hitesh Mehta, Managing Partner – Kreston HM Uganda & Manit Mehta visited the Kreston Menon HQ in Dubai and met with Sudhir Kumar, Senior Partner and Head of Corporate Communications – Kreston Menon, Director – Kreston Global Board, and Chair – Kreston Middle East.

The meeting focused on exploring opportunities for closer collaboration between Kreston HM Uganda and Kreston Menon, while also looking at ways to strengthen connections between Kreston Middle East and Kreston Africa.

With strong and growing trade relations between Uganda and the UAE, both countries continue to play an important role in connecting businesses and markets across their respective regions. The UAE is a key trade partner for Uganda, providing a gateway to the Middle East and international markets, while Uganda serves as an important gateway for UAE trade into East Africa.
