Why should you get an oil change at our tip top auto service center?
The oil is an extremely important part of your car! It’s what keep your car running smoothly and efficiently. Avoiding an oil change can lead to engine failure! That’s because the oil is a light brown honey color when its first placed in the car. Its thin and sleek! It allows the moving parts in the engine to work properly and efficiently. However, over time accumulating mileage the oil becomes contaminated. It thickens and becomes sticky! This causes your engine to work harder than it should. Not only is your car less efficient, its causing wear and tear. Eventually leading to a very expensive auto service visit!
How often should you get an oil change?
You should check you car’s manual to determine when you should get your oil change. However, the rule of thumb is in between every 3,000 to 6,000 miles. If you got your last oil change at our tip top Service Center then we have placed a sticker on the top of your windshield to let you know the mileage mark recommended for your next oil change.
How can you get an oil change?
If you’re familiar with what goes on under the hood of your car, then you might be able to do an oil change at home. However, you need the proper equipment and oil to ensure it’s done correctly. Make sure to check your car manual on what kind of oil you should use!
