Day 1 was about more than discussing change. It was about challenging how we prepare for it.
The first day of the 14th Annual GCC GOV HR & Youth Summit 2026 brought together government HR leaders, industry experts and youth representatives to examine the decisions, capabilities and people strategies shaping tomorrow’s institutions.
From questioning how AI should be used in HR to rethinking job design, skills development and employee well-being, the conversations went beyond adopting new approaches. They focused on making transformation meaningful, responsible and centred on people.
A clear message emerged throughout the day: technology can accelerate progress, but people, purpose and the choices leaders make determine its impact.
As Day 1 comes to a close, the insights continue, the connections grow and the conversations move forward.
