It’s been a while since we last posted on our page. Like most businesses and individuals, we have been trying to navigate our way through the Covid era and all its negative connotations for your health, happiness and prosperity. If nothing else, Covid has shown us so many sides of human nature: resilience, courage, caring for others and, on a less positive note, battling with fear, loss and, in some cases, a sense of tribalism instead of unity in so many aspects of our lives - politics, health, race, gender and in many other areas.
Our philosophy at ILO remains simple and has been one of the constants in this period of change… make a positive difference to people through focused education and awareness, with a dollop of fun thrown in for good measure! Our mission statement “Learning through change… Change through learning” has never been more valid than in the past two years.
We have made some key changes that we would like to share with all our clients, friends and followers:
First, we have decided to close our ILO offices in Dubai as we seek to develop a more global brand with enhanced representation in a number of different regions.
This does not mean we have deserted the UAE… far from it in fact! We have created a new sub-division of ILO Global (as we will be called going forward). The new Dubai based company has now been set up and is appropriately called ‘Keith Usher HR Consultancy’ under the management of Keith, and he will continue to offer consultancy support to businesses and companies in the key areas of human development and achieving potential through effective people management and growth.
This is a business model we plan to replicate across the globe, under the umbrella of ILO Global, where we can provide specific specialist support via both online platforms and through traditional face-to-face interventions.
We have recently been active in the development of online learning solutions, providing both live ‘virtual’ training sessions and developing bespoke courses available on online learning platforms. Our goal is to provide tailor-made solutions to companies who have invested in their own platforms (or require access to a quality LMS) and those businesses who need design/consultancy support in creating their own platform and content.
This is a new venture and we will continue to update you as we develop these initiatives further, but if you would like to discuss your learning requirements with us directly, then please do get in touch.
So, to summarise, ILO is very much alive and kicking, normal service plus a host of extra consultancy offerings will shortly be available locally and globally, and we thank all our loyal friends, clients and followers who have emailed or called us to check we are still in business.
