Almost five years ago I left a twenty-year corporate career in People & Culture to build something I believed in, THE PEOPLE AGENCY . It hasn't been a straight line. Building a business rarely is.

At that time the independent HR space was a fairly small niche in the Middle East, but fast forward, each week I see and speak to more HR professionals joining the independent space.

This year, I have been excited to see the CIPD Middle East People Awards recognise the growth of this space with a dedicated category for independent consultants, meaning they're accepting independent nominations!

So if you are watching or reading this as an independent, or have contracted an independent to support your business or organisation, it's time to nominate!

The .people.agency and our Founder Leanna are proud to have been selected as part of Cohort 2 of the E1H Incubator.

Founded by Leanna 4 years ago, .people.agency was built to challenge how organisations think about people and culture. Not just hiring, but building structures that genuinely support growth, performance, and long term success.

Magical night at the CIPD Middle East Awards ✨

It was an honour to be selected as a judge this year across two categories. Watching the winners receive their awards was a powerful reminder of why I chose this profession in the first place. At its core, HR exists to help people and organisations be their absolute best.

Congratulations to the entire CIPD team who worked so hard to deliver such a fantastic event.
