Two sessions. One week at InfoCommIndia . Plenty of ideas to take home. 🎤

Our Strategy Director 𝗡𝗶𝘁𝗮 𝗢𝗱𝗲𝗱𝗿𝗮 took the stage in Mumbai yesterday to share lessons from delivering AV across the Gulf. Here are a few that stuck with us:

✅ AV performs best when considered from the start. Collaboration between consultants, architects, designers and integrators from conception is what helps your technology function as intended.

✅ Put culture first. How people interact with a space is shaped by traditions, language and behaviour. Understand this first, and you will understand how to build AV that makes people’s journeys easier.

✅ Gulf nations are experts at this, creating spaces that feel specific to their location while balancing entertainment, technology and functionality.

The week also started with a visit to the LEDX Technology factory. Our CEO John V Joseph got a first-hand look at the manufacturing process behind their custom LED displays for the AV industry. Thank you to the team for the tour!

Throwback to this time last month, Katy Hopkins’ talk at Annual Congress: London 2026. One of the key takeaway sessions was “Creativity: What’s the Point?”

This was a really insightful session on the role creativity plays in out-of-home, and it left us asking: *is signage creative too?*

What stuck with us was the idea that people remember feelings, not adverts. In the UAE, where communities and destinations are built with such a strong sense of place, out-of-home signage has to do more than display a message. It has to embody the creative idea if it is going to be seen, understood and remembered.
