According to neuroscience approximately 95% of our thinking and behaviour happens unconsciously, meaning we are 'programmed' in a certain way and most of the time "run on auto-pilot' based on the experiences we made over time, the environment we lived in and the people and relationships we interacted with.
Should you ever face a person (incl. yourself), that challenges you based on a certain level of incongruency, meaning their WORDS are not in line with their ACTIONS....then remember to rather BELIEVE THE PATTERNS you observe. As these often have been developed and deepened unconsciously over many years. Especially if a certain incongruency presents itself over and over again.
Are you aware of your own patterns, specifically the ones that don't serve you anymore? ...and all the times you use excuses, but never actually work on improving them?
