Our two-year assignment as Design Delivery Manager with Cracknell for the Green Riyadh Programme has ended. The value we brought to the PMO been the culmination of 40 years experience in the Middle East.

We will be looking for similar assignments following the seasonal holidays.

2019 was spent supervising the landscaping works at Riyadh Front, a destination mall opposite Princess Noora University on the way to Riyadh Airport that is over 1Km end to end with a series of internal couryards and spectacular water features.

Since it opened last August, the Al Manara Hotel at Saraya Aqaba has hosted cast and crew of several movies being shot at Wadi Rum, including the forthcoming Star Wars Movie. Work on 3 more hotels is on hold, but we hope it will resume soon.

This year's adventure has been an engagement with Cracknell to manage the landscaping works for Fashion Front, a new concept in shopping malls on a 250 hectare site opposite the Princess Noor University in Riyadh.

For the past 6 months we have been posted to Aqaba, Jordan, working with Cracknell on the landscape works on Saraya Aqaba.

A visit to the Sahara Forest Project at Aqaba, Jordan. This ambitious project is testing techniques for using evaporative desalination of seawater for hydroponic farming.
