The Drones are coming ! Interesting concept from JD.com Global, bringing larger packages to remote villages in rural China, and return trip with fresh produce to the city
Chinese Govt. allows large testing area, growth of 20 existing routes to 100 routes by end of this year, and it reminds of the drone deliveries being done on the African continent of critical medicine, samples and supplies by medical non-profit
It will be interesting to see if BRIC countries and African continent will be on the forefront of new technology testing and implementation compared to more established market in the western world due to restricted govt. legislation

It will likely be used to bring food from farms and agricultural warehouses to cities.

Seen today online webshop, haven't been tested, but this is relatively easy to put online, a countdown, which gives the consumer an added incentive to buy here, and asking themselves, when it will ship from other sites, this is enabled by superior logistics and supply chain management ... well done
