Myopia management is most effective when it begins before progression becomes established. Children's eyes are still developing, which means the stimulus for axial elongation is active during precisely the years when intervention can make the greatest difference.

Clinical data from the Zhongshan Ophthalmic Center of Sun Yat-sen University compared eye axis elongation in 10-year-old children over 6 and 12 months. The findings confirmed that MYOGEN suppressed the progression of myopia and the elongation of the eye axis compared to a conventional single vision lens.
