Big update for dentists aiming to practice in Abu Dhabi.
Since January 2024, the Department of Health (DOH/HAAD) has officially scrapped license conversion from DHA Dubai and MOHAP UAE.
Yes, even if you hold an active license in another emirate, you’ll now be required to clear the DOH Pearson Vue / Oral exam to continue practicing in Abu Dhabi.
This rule applies to:

Despite having an active DHA Prosthodontics license and being registered with DOH last year, they were still required to retake the DOH Prosthodontics Pearson Vue exam under the new 2024 policy.
