Afghan Zariza (Afghan Millennium) is a news and reporting source aimed at providing both Afghan and international readers with access to in-depth reportage and analysis that looks at issues from both the Afghan and international perspective. AZ seeks to connect the Afghan diaspora with their home country and keep them updated with events and happenings in Afghanistan. The AZ started in July of 201

2, and for the young team, it has been a grueling 15 months of learning and testing: reading, writing, analyzing, reviewing. And testing and re-testing of the website design, development and content. We are proud to announce our arrival after one year of meticulous research and market analysis, borrowing from all the leading magazines and news institutions of the world. The first issue of Afghan Zariza hit he stands this month, both in English and Pashtoo/Dari. In sharp contrast to all the news and analysis flowing in and out of Afghanistan, the AZ is focused on the positive, yet not ignoring the challenges, realities of Afghans and Afghanistan. The AZ is not in the ‘blame game’ reporting or accusations, innuendoes or conjunctures. The reports and analysis are totally based on facts and the focus is on the country's economy, politics, security, law, sports and lifestyle. The sole purpose is to inform, educate and engage the readers.
