ASSCO was established in April 2012 by some Skilled and highly educated Members. Over the past two decades Afghanistan brought up displacement of thousands of people and destruction of political, Economic, legislative, social, cultural and educational foundation in the country, left the country in a total state of destruction which is the main reason behind backwardness of the country in all aspec

ts. it also has suffered from numerous wars, resulting in a significant decline in the standard of living. Women, in particular, were deprived of their civil rights, especially the right to work and be educated. ASSCO's mission is to "contribute to the rehabilitation and development of Afghanistan through the planning, designing and undertaking of economic and humanitarian assistance programs, as well as by developing the skills and capacity of Afghan women." ASSCO has created numerous projects throughout central and northern Afghanistan. The projects include handicraft/vocational training, education in computers and English, health awareness, emergency relief, human rights education, women development programs, housing construction, water supply, as well as women and social affairs projects. ASSOC is a social and cultural service organization as non-governmental, non-political and non-profitable organization.
