Fixed Asset Verification Engineer (Surveyor)

Job Description:
As a Fixed Asset Verification Engineer, you will be responsible for conducting comprehensive and accurate verification of fixed assets across the organization. Your role will involve assessing the physical existence, condition, and accuracy of asset records to ensure compliance with company policies, accounting standards, and regulatory requirements. You will work closely with the audit team and collaborate with various stakeholders, including engineers, technicians, and asset management personnel. Conduct on-site inspections of telecom company facilities, including office building, warehouse to verify existing condition of fixed assets. Document any discrepancies found during verification process. Review asset register book, and take photographs, notes, etc.
Job Requirements:
Qualifications & Skills:
Bachelor's degree in engineering, preferably in electrical, telecommunications, or a related field.
Prior experience in fixed asset verification, audit, or asset management is highly desirable.
Strong knowledge of fixed asset management principles, accounting standards, and regulatory requirements.
Familiarity with telecom infrastructure, equipment, and assets is advantageous.
Proficient in using asset management software, databases, and relevant tools for asset verification.
Excellent analytical skills with attention to detail to identify discrepancies and inconsistencies.
Strong written and verbal communication skills of English, Pashto and Dari to prepare clear and concise reports and effectively communicate with stakeholders.
Ability to work independently, prioritize tasks, and meet deadlines.
Professional certifications in asset management or audit (e.g., Certified Fixed Asset Specialist) is an advantage.
