Update from Trinidad.

Sassy is now out of surgery. She is resting and recovering. The surgery WAS A SUCCESS. SO THANK GOD FOR ALL HE HAS DONE. THANKS TO EVERYONE WHO OFFERED PRAYERS AND SUPPORT IN ANY WAY.

UPDATE FROM TRINIDAD

Sassy has completed her initial scan to verify a few medical diagnostics. They are awaiting the final report as we speak. She is in stable condition and her spirits are positive.

For anyone willing and able, please continue to donate as much as you can as there is still a need to cover the medical expenses in Trinidad. Most of the finances collected were used for Transportation to Trinidad. Now the medical expenses at the hospital is left to be covered. If you are desirous to make donations please do so by making a deposit directly to the FIRST CARIBBEAN INTERNATIONAL BANK account 107008038. This account will be accessed directly by family members in Trinidad.

Once again a special thank you to all who have donated and thanks for all the support thus far. Continue to keep us in your prayers.

The family of Ava Sassy McKenize extends profound gratitude to the Hon. Minister of Health Molwyn Joseph, Medical Benefits Scheme and the government of Antigua and Barbuda for the kind financial and administrative assistance offered to transfer our loved one from MSJMC to a medical facility in Trinidad where she is receiving the specialist care required and which is not available in Antigua.

Special thanks as well to the nurses and doctors at MSJMC for the care and treatment provided, and to the many people who have given financial donations and who continue to hold Sassy in thoughts and prayers.

Sassy left Antigua on Sunday, and we are indeed grateful for the consideration and assistance of the government and individuals and the concern shown for her condition and to us, her family.

We will continue to keep the faith and to keep the public apprised of her progress.

UPDATE

Sassy is currently being prepared for her trip from MSJMC to the hospital in Trinidad. She should be leaving within the next few hours.

To everyone who donated and offered support, whether financially, donated blood, offered prayers A SPECIAL THANK YOU. No amount of thanks could repay your kind generosity.

There are still a few more medical expenses to be covered, so donations of any kind are still being accepted. Once again thanks to everyone for your support at this time. We will try out utmost best to keep you all updated as we have new information.
