Self-love means more than enjoying your own company. It means making time for what matters most to you; your hapiness, your career, your goals and most importantly your health 💯

Lizzo is embracing a new chapter of self-love, body positivity, and personal growth with her fifth studio album, “LOVE IN REAL LIFE”, on the way. (FYI, it looks nothing like her past chapters.) ⚡️

As our Summer 2025 cover star, the four-time Grammy winner is letting us in on how she’s reinventing her life and her body—on her own terms—and the mindset shift that’s helped her change everything.

"Body positivity has nothing to do with staying the same. Body positivity is the radical act of daring to exist loudly and proudly in a society that told you you shouldn't exist." ✨

What if the pain you’ve been told to “push through” is actually a medical condition?

Have you ever had to plan your entire workday around menstrual cramps? Sitting quietly in meetings, hoping no one notices you’re withdrawn because the pain is unbearable?

For many women and girls, this isn’t just a “bad period.” It could be endometriosis, a chronic condition that affects an estimated 1 in 10 women and girls worldwide.

Yet many suffer in silence for years before receiving a diagnosis.

You are not dramatic.
You are not weak.
You are not unprofessional.
You are navigating a system that has long dismissed women’s pain.

At Scrub Life Cares, we advocate for body and health literacy, helping women and girls understand what is normal, what is not, and when their bodies may be signaling that something needs attention.

Menstrual health education is more than learning about periods. It’s about empowering women and girls to recognize symptoms, seek care, and advocate for their health.

This Endometriosis Awareness Month, we stand with those living with chronic menstrual pain and call for:

💛 Earlier diagnosis
💛 Greater awareness of menstrual disorders
💛 More research on women’s health
💛 Open conversations about menstrual health

Pain should never be normalized or ignored.

Your body is speaking. It deserves to be heard.
