Join us for Walkshop: A City in Transition. As a part of the Future Drinks series, this completely free, interactive walk will equip you with the tools to observe, discuss, and engage with the built urban environment and our shared experiences, ultimately empowering us to exercise our "right to the city."

We are shifting our focus from internal reflection to actively noticing the spaces we navigate every day. This walk will help you critically read your surroundings and observe the spatial and social forces shaping our neighborhoods.

The Route & Reflection
We will walk together through the Student City, Ali Demi to Bulevard i Ri, applying these critical lenses in real-time. It will be about an hour walk. Afterward, we will end the Walkshop at a local cafe to sit down, share our observations, and reflect on the experience together.

Meeting Location: Fakulteti i Ekonomisë, Universiteti i Tiranës
Date: Thursday, 28/05/2026
Time: 18:00 - 20:00

Come walk with us. Let’s learn to look closely, think critically, and take an active role in shaping our city in transition.

EN: Cities are never neutral, whether spatially or socially. They are shaped by power and capital, but also by the people who inhabit them.

This Thursday, we’ll map the Tirana we carry within us, and the one we want to build. Together, we will practice creating collective spaces of imagination through memory, emotion, and collective presence.

EN: How can we make the city better for women?
Entenela reminds us of something simple, yet essential: the space to be alone, to walk, to think. In a city that is constantly changing and growing, even the most basic moments of quiet can feel out of reach.

Thank you Entenela for your thoughtful reflection.
