Winter is coming! ❄️ Honestly Mojitos are just way too tasty, to not also drink them in the cold seasons 🥶
I always had a faible for Mocktails... Many cocktails taste amazing and especially the delicate complexity you get from combining different liquors is mind blowing. But that doesn't mean Mocktails don't have the same potential as cocktails.

However today I'm bringing you a lovely alternative to a fresh selfmade lemonade 😋 And that is, I think I already gave it away at the beginning: the alcohol free Mojito 👌 You could like I've done it, simply leave out the rum or if you want some more complexity, swap the rum for an alcohol free rum alternative. I never tried one of these, but I heard many of them are absolutely delicious 👍

(40 ml alcohol free rum alternative)
30 ml fresh lime juice
15-20 ml sugar syrup
A few mint sprigs
Top with soda

For garnish I used a dried lime wheel and a few big mint sprigs😊 Cheers!

Americano - An old Campari-Classic 🍊
As usual this is my version of the Americano so it may differs a bit from the original recipe. The standart Americano recipe calls for Campari, sweet vermouth and soda. Sounds easy, but boooooriiing...

So lets make things a little more interesting 🤔 I love using just a tiny bit (≈5-10ml) of whiskey or Jägermeister in my Sours. It adds a very pleasing complexity without changing the taste of the drink too much. That's also what I've done here, not with whiskey, but with V-SINNE GIN] elixir 🍒 The gin elexir adds lovely notes of caramelized cherrys to this cocktail and make it taste a lot more interesting. Also I added the oils of a lemon and orange zest🍊
To be honest Campari tastes slightly to bitter for my taste. I often prefer using Aperol, but I know many people prefer Campari, so feel free to try this variation if you like 🙃

30 ml
30 ml sweet vermouth (or Martini Aperitivo Vibrante «alcohol free»)
10 ml V-SINNE GIN] elixir
Oils of an orange & lemon zest
Top with soda

For garnish I used an ivy leaf and a dried orange wheel 🍊 Cheers! 🥂

A simple recipe for the weekend for those stuck at home (everyone). As you all may know, I usually favor simple recipes that can easily be made in your home kitchen. This riff on an Old Fashioned adds rosemary and smoke to the original recipe.

I use a simple homemade rosemary syrup to help carry the woody flavours of the blended Scotch. The addition of a torch rosemary adds a further smoky element to this Old Fashioned.

Rosemary Old Fashioned
* Johnnie Walker Gold Label Scotch Whisky
* Homemade Rosemary Syrup
* Angostura Bitters

This cocktail is served at the 400 Conejos bar in Guadalajara, Mexico. It was displayed as part of the Don Fulano Masterclass organised by that I virtually joined last month and I’ve been dying to try it since! I had just enough sample left from the Masterclass to make this. This is honestly one of the best tequila cocktails I’ve ever had! I have tried it with a different tequila reposado but it didn’t quite taste the same. If you ever have a bottle of Don fulano tequila reposado, you have to try this!
45ml Tequila reposado
30ml Amaro Montenegro
7.5ml Freshly squeezed lime juice
15ml Cucumber and honey syrup*
Celery salt rim
Place all ingredients in a shaker, add ice and shake, rim highball glass with celery salt and double strain in a glass filled with ice. Garnish with orange slice (I like mine charred) and elderflower (optional).
*Cucumber and Honey syrup:
300ml Honey
1pc Cucumber (sliced)
150ml still water
"Place sliced cucumbers in a plastic container, cover with honey, cover the container and let it rest in the freezer for 4 hours. Take it out of the freezer and leave it at room temperature for 30min and strain. Add the water and beat until incoporate”

15ml Coffee liqueur

Sometimes you find your inspiration in the strangest places!!
A couple of years ago I was lying on the couch one sunday afternoon watching an old black & white Ivanhoe movie when I got a glimpse of an old wooden mug that they where drinking from. Got the idea to design & create a practical & moderne version of the mug & managed to convince Pasabahce (that I was working with at the time) that it was a good idea & the Timeless Multi Purpose glass was created!
I have ever since been super honored by the reception that the design got from the global hospitality industry & the fact that most people in the industry grasped on to the idea of "multi purpose" & are using the glass for a wide range of servings like wine, beer, soft drink, juices, cocktail & different hot drinks!
