At we believe that supporting young talent means more than offering just a job. It means creating space to work, opportunities to contribute and trust to take on meaningful challenges. Over the past year, a new generation of colleagues has joined our team, bringing fresh perspectives and new energy 🌱 to the work we do across Albania and the region.

Over 35 representatives of chambers of commerce, business associations and service providers met with the Ministry of Economy and Innovation ( ) at the House of Business in Tirana on 23 July, for a consultation workshop on Chapter 3 of the accession negotiations "Right of Establishment and Freedom to Provide Services".

The workshop was organised with the support of the EU Integration Support (EUIS) Project, which also assists MEI on legal approximation in this area.

The meeting was led by Ms. Olta Manjani
Deputy Minister of Economy and Innovation and Negotiator for Chapter 3, who presented the findings of a first national mapping of regulated professions in Albania to identify where legal bases, procedures, deadlines and appeal mechanisms are clearly set out and where they still need work.

"Companies that begin adapting now will find 2028 an opportunity. Those that wait will find it a deadline", noted Ms. Olta Manjani, Deputy Minister of Economy and Innovation, Negotiator for Chapter 3.

During the workshop, participants completed a survey measuring the legal and financial impact of the reform on their operations and their level of readiness. Regulatory impact assessment is an obligation in the negotiation process, but without data from the market, it stays theoretical.

Meet Eno Kume, our Geodetic Engineer colleague, celebrating with this year! 🎉

Eno describes himself simply: a geodetic engineer with over ten years in topography, cadaster and Geographic Information Systems (GIS). 🛰️

Behind that title, though, he is someone who has spent a decade moving between the field and the screen, taking measurements on site, then turning that data into maps and models back at the office, always chasing the same three things: 🎯, ✅ and 🌟 in his job.

He joined Abkons in 2016 and the years since have taken him across all kinds of infrastructure work, from hydropower to major transport projects. Along the way, he has grown into the highly experienced senior engineer he is today, building a reputation as someone teams want on site when the terrain gets difficult. ⛰️

Beyond the maps, coordinates and the strategic projects, Eno loves to travel, discover new places 🌍 and spend time with family. 👨‍👩‍👦 For him, finding the right coordinates is not only part of the job, it is also a way of moving through life, with curiosity, warmth and an open mind toward every new place, every new tool and every new experience.

Within the Abkons team, Eno is also the spirit of every celebration 🎊, the person who brings energy, humor 😅 and positivity whenever people come together.

Ten years, dozens of projects, and more kilometers surveyed than most of us will probably ever walk, Eno's story is a good reminder that a career doesn't always run in a straight line. Sometimes it just follows the terrain, growing one measurement at a time here at .
