a slightly dark and introspective mood.

I use color as a primary tool to translate inner feelings onto the canvas, creating pieces that feel both personal and atmospheric.»

👩🏻‍🎨 Artist Feature — Nora Radoslavova

«My name is Nora Radoslavova, and I am Bulgarian Armenian and live here in Yerevan. I am currently part of the iGorts program, working with the Office of the High Commissioner for Diaspora Affairs of the Republic of Armenia.

I grew up in an artistic family, surrounded by creativity—especially music—although
I never formally studied art. I am a self-taught painter. At the same time, I was involved in the management of AGBU for many years, which shaped another important part of who I am.

I began painting at a moment when I needed to express something deeper—something words could no longer hold. Through practice, curiosity, and persistence and learning new techniques from experienced artists, painting gradually became an essential part of my life.

After a period away from it, arriving in Armenia reawakened that part of me. Being here felt like a natural continuation of my journey.

This painting marks that return. It is called “Spring in Yerevan.”, because it is a feeling of spring—blooming, becoming, transforming—and this painting is my way of capturing that experience.»

You can see Nora’s painting until 15 May at The Club, 40 Tumanyan Street.

👩🏻‍🎨 Artist Feature — Lilit Yeghiazaryan

«I am a beginner artist from Yerevan. For a very long time, drawing was a small hobby and a big dream for me, as I struggled to figure out what I wanted to express in my works. I consider myself a beginner because I only started painting last year.

The idea for my first painting project came at a time when I was looking for strength and tranquility. I found them in objects and symbols that are simple but containing a multitude of meanings: the Sun for resilience and inevitability of life; the Moon for a reminder that some things will stay hidden and there’s no other option but to walk into the darkness when it’s time; the candle as a universal symbol of connection with fellow humans as well as the higher power; the pinecone as both promise and evidence of growth, and the wave as the first cradle of every human.»

You can see Lilit’s painting until 15 May at The Club, 40 Tumanyan Street.
