U.S.-based crypto holders alone were able to generate $47 billion from trading Bitcoin and Co. last year.

🥈It is followed by Chanel with a brand value of roughly $47 billion.

🥉Next up on the list is Hermès, whose value is estimated at $46.4 billion.

Gucci is fourth in the list with value of $33.8 billion.

It is followed by watch-maker Rolex with a value of $ 8.1 billion.

Carter is next in the list with $7.3 billion.
Christian Dior took the 7th position with value of $ 5.4 billion.

Saint Laurent has the value of $5.2 billion.
Prada is ninth in the list with $4 billion.

COVID-19: An unprecedented crisis

👨‍⚕️👩‍⚕️Health systems around the world have been overwhelmed by the number of coronavirus cases, and even the richest and most prepared countries have struggled. In the most vulnerable countries, millions of people have not had access to critical life-saving supplies, such as test kits, face masks, and respirators. However, there is now a light at the end of the tunnel: Several vaccines have been approved for use, and over seven billion vaccine doses had already been administered worldwide as of November 4, 2021.

🇦🇲Armenia’s economic activity in the first seven months of 2021 increased by 5.2% compared to the same period in 2020, according to the National Statistical Committee (NSC).

✅During the same period Armenia’s foreign trade turnover in January-July 2021 amounted to $4,306.4 billion, which is 15.1% higher than in the same period in 2020, according to the numbers, released today by the NSC.

📈Armenian exports in January-July 2021 when compared to January-July 2020 increased by 23.2% amounting to $1,641.5 billion. Compared to June 2021 they fell by 9.1%. In dram equivalent, exports amounted to 848.6 billion drams.

📈Imports in the reporting period amounted to $2,664.9 billion, recording an increase of 10.6% when compared to January-July 2020. In July 2021, compared to July 2020, imports increased by 22.4%, and compared to June 2021, by 10.7%. In dram equivalent, imports in January-July 2021 stood at 1,377.4 trillion drams. ($1 – 490.56 drams).

✅Multiple countries have paused the use of AstraZeneca's COVID-19 vaccine as a precaution while investigators look into cases of blood clots among vaccinated people.

🔬At least three EU countries — Austria, Estonia and Lithuania — have suspended use of a specific batch of AstraZeneca's COVID-19 vaccine as a precaution following the death of a vaccinated person. The batch consisted of 1 million doses that were distributed among 17 EU countries, according to the European Medicines Agency (EMA).

🧪AstraZeneca's vaccine has been granted conditional marketing authorization or emergency use in more than 70 countries, including the UK and across the European Union. It has not yet been issued emergency-use authorization in the US.

🏦The State Revenue Committee of Armenia has published the list of 1000 major taxpayers of 2020 and the total amount of taxes paid by them to the state budget.

📈Over 987 billion 637 million drams in taxes were paid by the 1000 major taxpayers in 2020.

🏆The list is topped by Grand To***co which paid 50 billion 671 million 32 thousand drams in taxes in 2020.

The second one is Gazprom Armenia which is followed by Zangezur Copper and Molybdenum Combine.

The next is Geopromining Gold followed by International Masis Tabak.

The top 10 list of the taxpayer companies also include CPS Oil, Flash, Philip Morris Armenia, GTL Armenia and MTS Armenia.

☑The global economy is climbing out from the depths to which it had plummeted during the Great Lockdown in April.

🌍🌎🌏But with the COVID-19 pandemic continuing to spread, many countries have slowed reopening and some are reinstating partial lockdowns to protect susceptible populations.

📊Global GDP growth is projected at –4.9 percent in 2020, 1.9 percentage points below the April 2020 World Economic Outlook (WEO) forecast. The COVID-19 pandemic has had a more negative impact on activity in the first half of 2020 than anticipated, and the recovery is projected to be more gradual than previously forecast.
📈In 2021 global growth is projected at 5.4 percent.

🌐The Economist Intelligence Unit's Worldwide Cost of Living survey named Singapore, Osaka and Hong Kong the world's most expensive cities today. Using New York as a benchmark, the research compared the price of 160 items in different cities around the world.

📊The current survey was compiled in November 2019 before the outbreak of COVID-19 and the pandemic has already had a major impact on the global financial system. Cities that rely heavily on income from tourism, including Hong Kong and Singapore, could see their economies contract and their cost of living fall. That is likely to result in very different results in future editions of the ranking.

📈This year's survey was notable as it saw Osaka displacing Paris in the top-three due to a strengthening of the yen which also resulted in Tokyo climbing from 13th place to joint 9th. New York and Los Angeles are also among the world's most expensive cities, coming 4th and 9th respectively. They were influenced by a combination of firm domestic demand and strong local currency.
