🇦🇲 Armenia is getting ready to host Silicon Mountains 2026!

On November 3-4, Yerevan will bring together technology leaders, innovators, investors, and industry experts for Silicon Mountains Summit & Expo, under this year’s theme, “Invest in Innovation.”

The program will focus on key areas shaping the future of technology, including artificial intelligence, semiconductors, and engineering, alongside expert discussions, workshops, B2B meetings, and a technology Expo.

The summit will also present the 2026 State Award for Global Contribution to High Technologies to Dr. Kam Ghaffarian, Executive Chairman and Co-Founder of X-energy. Previous laureates include Vincent Roche of Analog Devices, Chi-Foon Chan of Synopsys, among other distinguished leaders in global technology.

🇪🇺🇦🇲 EU support creates new opportunities for Armenian exports, allowing local products to reach wider markets.

The EU has introduced temporary measures offering more favorable tariff conditions for around 80% of Armenian exports to the EU.

For local producers, this is a chance to being more Armenian products to the EU market under more favorable trade conditions. Eight agricultural products, including apricots, grapes, cucumbers and peaches, can benefit from import duty exemptions within annual quotas.

For Armenia, stronger access to the EU market will support market diversification, helping our businesses explore new destinations for their products and rely on a wider range of export markets.

This is another step toward connecting local production with international demand, and contibute to a stronger economy for Armenia.

🇦🇲 🇧🇪 We were pleased to host a Belgian delegation in Yerevan as part of the Economic Mission organized with the Belgian Armenian Chamber of Commerce. The discussions went beyond introductions into how cooperation could actually work.

Talks covered healthcare, from hospital cooperation and knowledge exchange to the treatment and recycling of medical waste. Logistics and connectivity came up as Armenia's position between markets keeps growing in value, and energy was discussed in terms of modernization and optimization, which is where Armenia's capacity to power new investment matters most. Mining and cement industry productivity offer clear room for partnership, and real estate and access to compute power for Belgian companies showed interest in what Armenia can offer. Wellness and tourism rounded out the discussions.

We look forward to building on this productive discussion and connecting the right people.

🇦🇲 🇬🇧 The Armenia - UK Business Forum brought together businesses, government and finance institutions with one practical question: how do we move from interest to real trade and investment between our two countries?

The panel "Trade & Investment: Market Access, Export Finance and Strategic Growth" looked at this from every side: how the UK and Armenia can open markets for each other, how export finance and guarantees can reduce risk for companies, how local banks can support trade, and why private investors are starting to look at Armenia.

Speaking on the panel, Gohar Abajyan, CEO of Enterprise Armenia, explained why, with global supply chains disrupted, investors today are looking for trusted partners and long-term commitment. She also highlighted Armenia's role as a crossroads of connectivity between Europe, Central Asia and the Gulf, and where the real opportunities are on the ground.

On the sidelines of the forum, Gohar also met with J & D Pierce (Contracts) Ltd to discuss opportunities for the company in Armenia.

🇫🇷🇦🇲 The 2nd Auvergne-Rhône-Alpes – Armenia Economic Meeting on Agrifood and Agritourism brought together companies, investors and public partners from France and Armenia in Lyon on October 1 to discuss the growing partnership potential between our countries.

Lilit Haroyan, Head of our Investment Promotion and Foreign Relations Department, presented Armenia's agriculture investment opportunities together with Joelle Seux of Auvergne-Rhône-Alpes Entreprises.

She spoke about Armenia's economic growth, government support programs, EU backing, and the move toward modern value chains, processing and exports.

Agrifood is one of Armenia's most promising sectors. There is room to invest in processing, storage and modern production, and Armenian products are ready for new markets. Auvergne-Rhône-Alpes is one of France's leading food regions, and its companies have the experience and market access that fit well with what Armenia offers.

Alongside the discussions, B2B meetings gave companies the chance to meet directly and talk about specific projects.

Congratulations to Raffi Derderian on opening the Lyon branch of the French-Armenian Chamber of Commerce and Industry (CCIFA). This is good news for companies on both sides.

Armenian-founded Renderforest, an AI-driven platform serving 40 million users globally, has received US government approval to import NVIDIA GPUs. The key hardware is expected to arrive in Armenia soon, with the company’s video processing operations gradually shifting to the country.

The Ambassador confirmed the UK's openness to a stronger presence of Armenian companies in the British market and support in helping Armenian producers reach new buyers.

The discussion also covered promoting Armenia among UK businesses, connecting companies from both countries, and creating platforms to present Armenian investment projects to UK investors.

Enterprise Armenia thanks the Ambassador for the open dialogue and looks forward to concrete next steps.

The meeting focused on identifying areas of mutual interest and exploring opportunities for stronger business and institutional ties between Fresno and Armenia.

Gohar Abajyan, CEO of Enterprise Armenia, highlighted the importance of market diversification for Armenia and identifying common grounds of interest, with Enterprise Armenia ready to support foreign businesses to operate in Armenia.
